The City of Bellaire is located in southeast Texas and has a population of just over 17,000 residents. Bellaire was founded in 1908 on what was part of a 95-hundred acre ranch, as a residential neighborhood and agricultural trading center. Today, the streets are lined with large oaks and custom built homes. Bellaire is located minutes southwest of Houston from the city's downtown and the Galleria. The Woodlands

Located about 30 miles north of downtown Houston, Texas, The Woodlands officially began in 1974. The Woodlands is a master-planned community with approximately 118,000 residents and approximately 2,100 businesses. The Woodlands is well known for its extensive parks and recreation, golf, corporate headquarters, schools, places of worship, shopping, dining, hospitality, healthcare and much more. Today, there are 151 parks and 220 miles of hike and bike trails.

Katy

In the beginning it was only a wide open prairie, the hunting ground of the Karankawa Indian tribes, the winter feeding grounds of great herds of buffalo and large flocks of wild ducks, geese, sandhill and whooping cranes, and numerous other game birds, and home to longhorn cattle, deer, and wolves. Earliest settlement of the community known as Cane Island, for Cane Island Creek that runs through it, was in 1872.

Pasadena

For just a little bit of Pasadena history, Details surrounding the opening of the Washburn Tunnel in 1950. The only underground passage way in Texas remains in North Pasadena.

Pearland

Missouri City

The city is mostly in Fort Bend County, with a small portion in Harris County.

Humble

Humble is located in the Northeast quadrant of Harris County and covers approximately 10 square miles. The City has a very diverse population of 14,000 to 15,000 inhabitants. However, with the large number of commercial businesses located in the City, the daytime population of Humble dramatically increases.

Houston Metro Transit

The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County is a major public transportation agency based in Houston, Texas, United States. It operates bus, light rail, bus rapid transit, HOV and HOT lanes, and paratransit service in the city as well as most of Harris County.

Metro Curb 2 Curb

An on-demand service, available in certain communities without immediate access to a METRO bus route. It operates in a defined zone and doesn't travel a standard route.
