Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work in unity to bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ. Jesus died for the sins of the world but no one can come to Christ unless the Father draws them. We are spiritually dead until the Holy Spirit comes to live in us and then baptizes us into the body of Christ, the church. The Holy Spirit gives every believer gifts. Christ calls every believer to service and God’s power works in all ministries through all persons. The salvation of humankind is God’s plan and work. He calls and equips us to participate in His plan as witnesses. God created the church to operate supernaturally, in His divine power not our own. If the church is to navigate these unprecedented times in this unthinkable world, we must quit focusing on “church questions” such as, "how do we make our church work, or how do we do church better?" We must ask questions that focus on God. What is God up to in our neighborhoods and communities? What are my gifts and how is God calling me to join Him in His work? We need God's power to be His witnesses and His power is available for the work He is calling us to do. Be prayerful and join Him.
