Mt. Vernon Family,

I am proud of you and want to encourage you to keep pressing forward. Here are a few scriptures of encouragement to lean on during this week.

• Read your Bible: The word of the Lord is upright and all His work is done in faithfulness. (Psalm 33:4)

• Continue praying: The prayers of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)

• Keep the Faith: Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

• Persevere: … Because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character and character, hope.(Romans 5:3b-4)

• Be encouraged: My goal is that they ma be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, inorder that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:2-3)
