A Memorial Day Prayer

Lord, we mourn those who have laid down their lives fighting for our country. We

are grateful for their service. All lives are precious. We pray that you give our

leaders wisdom from above in the oversight of our military forces. We pray that

no unjust war is declared and that You hide our sons and daughters under the

shadow of Your wind as they protect and serve us.

We thank You in Jesus name.
