A ​Memorial ​Day ​Prayer​​

Lord we mourn those who have laid down their lives fighting for our country. We are grateful for their service. We pray that you give our leaders wisdom from above in the oversight of our military forces. We pray that no umjust war is declared and that You hide our sons and daughters under the shadow of Your wing as they protect and serve us. Lord, we also mourn for the lives of those innocent children and adults at Robb elementary in Uvalde, Texas thsi week as well as those who lost their lives at a grocery store in Buffalo, new York last week. Our country is at war within. These senseless murders happen all too often, and nothing is done about it. We are weary Lord and grieved. Lord, please remove leaders from office who value their freedom to own guns over the lives of our innocent children and loved ones. Lord, demolish all their efforts to suppress voting and pass legislations that promote and ungodly biased agenda that lines their pockets and keep them in power. Lord, hear our prayers!
