Good afternoon Mt. Vernon,

This was the first week our Mt. Vernon Prayer Cell Ministry met and prayed. I thank God for those who stepped up to lead the cell groups and those who joined them in prayer. There is so much to pray about and prayer is what we do. We pray that God strengthens the church worldwide and that Christ Jesus is boldly proclaimed and widely received. We thank God that while we may be on lockdown the word is not on lockdown. His word does not return void, it accomplishes what God pleases and it shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it, Isa. 55:11. The early church did not have telephone, television, text, email, Zoom or WebEx and yet the church partnered with God to turn the world upside down with the gospel. It all began with prayer. Take the time this week to connect with a Prayer Cell Group.
