Hello Mt. Vernon Church Family,

This is a time of change in the life of the United Methodist Church as we know it. Even though change is forthcoming, God is ever present when each of us spends time with God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the power of the Holy Spirit, who wants to live within us. Prayer changes things and it is amazing when two or more true believers come together and pray for our families, our church family, community, city, state, and country. Our voices matter to God and matters in the things that affect our lives. It is time for the people of God to stand! Stand for unconditional love; stand for peace and stand for the truth. Rightly divide the Word of God and live it, love it, and share it with everyone you encounter. This confirms the mission of the church to make disciples for the transformation of the world. Let’s be the church 24 hours a day and share Jesus’ love freely.
