Greetings Mt. Vernon Family,

Keep me and my husband Bro. Joseph Giles in your prayers as you are always on our hearts and in our prayers.

Zephaniah 3:17 says, "For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."

Thank You Father for living among us always but especially during these times of covid-19 and social distancing. It is by Your Spirit that we are one body, united in worship and fellowship, whether in-person or from a safe distance in our homes. You never leave us nor do You forsake us. Our hearts are open to Your love and compassion. Your joy is our strength and our song. Under the shadow of Your wings we find protection from all harm. We rebuke fear and follow You by faith, for You are our God and we are Your people. Help us meet the challenge of schools reopening amid a pandemic. Provide the technology, strengthen the support system between students, teachers, parents and the church community. Let no virus come near us. We delight in Your love Father, and in doing Your will, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
