Hello Mt. Vernon Church Family,

Friends, there are times and circumstances that are out of our hands and rest in the hands of the Lord. The passing of Pastor Deborah Giles is just that type of event. We knew she was ill; however, we did not have any idea she would leave us so soon. Be assured that she is with the Lord and wants each of us to walk closely with the Lord as well.

Please express your love for God, for Pastor Deborah and for yourself by committing to read some scriptures daily, to pray without ceasing and to love others unconditionally. This would be a great honor to her legacy and her family if we would heed her teachings.
