Greetings Mt. Vernon Family,

When Solomon completed the temple in Jerusalem, the Lord appeared to Solomon and said, "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.” The Church worldwide needs prayer. Mt. Vernon needs prayer. Your pastor and leaders in our church need prayer. AMERICA NEEDS PRAYER. The leaders in our government need prayer. Front line workers need prayer. Our schools need prayer. Mt. Vernon’s Prayer Cell Ministry meets six different times during the week. Please connect with at least one Prayer Cell this week and petition God about these concerns. The church is God’s royal priesthood and prayer is what we do. Amen!
