Greetings Mt. Vernon Family,

Psalm 31:23-24 Love the LORD, all his faithful people! The LORD preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

Being faithful means being loyal, devoted, trustworthy, responsible, and obedient to God. Faithfulness is a choice. The faithful person is intentional, persistent, and consistent. God is sovereign. He does what He wants, when He wants and how He wants to do it. The faithful have made peace with God’s sovereignty. We trust God and we have determined in our hearts to be true to God no matter what life throws us. We understand that our faithful God and His faithful child will handle life’s challenges together. Faithful people make peace with the time. We understand that God’s timing is not always our timing, but God is always on time. In addition, God’s faithful people make the most of the time God gives them while here on earth.

Lord, we thank You that faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. Your Character is growing in us as we trust You for Great is Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your faithfulness in helping us grow in this area of our life.
