Greetings Mt. Vernon Family,

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isa 43:2 NLT.

Jesus is with us! He never said the road would be easy, but He did not bring us this far to leave us. In fact, Jesus warned us of all kinds of difficulties. He said, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves (Mat.10:16). If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you. A messenger is no greater than the One who sent him (John 13:16). You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved (Mar. 13:13). Get up! Put on the whole armor of God and take Your stand in the Lord. The victory has already been won at the cross. Our job is to occupy, meaning carry on the Master’s business of making disciples until He comes *(Luke 19:13). Believe it, live it, share it, the gospel of Jesus Christ.
